• The Allergy and Asthma Network.
• The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
• The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; see their physician referral directory.
• The American Academy of Family Physicians offers detailed articles through this and the associated FamilyDoctor site.
• The American Medical Association.
• The Centers for Disease Control - especially for travel abroad.
• PubMed from the National Library of Medicine offers access to Medline, Aidsline and other huge databases.
• From NIH we have the National Asthma Education and Prevention Program, and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
• The National Jewish Medical and Research Center is the only medical and research center in the United States devoted entirely to respiratory, allergic and immune system diseases. Through forums you can interact with consumers and professionals.

• Healthfinder - a good place to start research.
• Healthscout - a good place for recent news.
• Tufts provides this food/nutrition site.
• Healthcentral is huge and searchable. See their comprehensive allergy section for example.
• Medical Matrix is searchable (free registration). Here is their allergy section.
• PDR.Net is the Physicians' Desk Reference plus news, a medical dictionary, and other reference resources.
• Emedicine offers a free electronic clinical database.
• Also see Health A to Z, CBS Healthwatch among others.

• The New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, the BMJ, Harrison's Principles and Scientific American Medicine are excellent journals with online access for subscribers.
• Physicians' Online is a rich resource for physicians and students.
